Visit museum Beelden aan Zee in historic seaside resort, Scheveningen, and discover the remarkable architecture, take in the extensive collection and comprehensive exhibits, shop for exclusive gifts, and enjoy refreshments at our uniquely positioned patio.​ 

Opening hours

Monday - Sunday: 10 am - 5 pm

ATTENTION: Due to changing the exhibtions the museum is closed from the 23th of September untill the 5th of October with exception of the 28th and 29th of August. Lisa Sebastikova, Klaas Gubbels and the permanent exhibtion will be on view for half of the normal entrance fee. 

 

Public Holidays

We are open on Mondays during national school holidays. During the summer holidays we are open from Monday, July 8th until Monday, August 26th.

Kingsday (April 27th): closed
Ascension Day (May 30th): open 
Whit Sunday and Monday: open
Christmas Eve: open until 4 pm

Christmas: closed
Boxing Day: open until 4 pm
New Years Eve: open until 4 pm
New Years Day: closed

Between exhibitions the museum might be (partially) closed. Advanced notice will be posted on this website.

In order to promote sustainability and safety museum Beelden aan Zee has a CARDS ONLY policy. Cash will no longer be accepted.

By car
Coming from Nieuwe Parklaan, Badhuisweg or Zwolsestraat: follow Gevers Deynootweg from the Kurhaus in a southerly direction. After 300 meters Harteveltstraat is on your right. As parking near the museum is discouraged we kindly advise you to park in BKS Parking Nieuwe Parklaan.
