The kite that never flew
From 10 November, artist, curator, and DJ Narges Mohammadi (1993) will showcase her latest site-specific work in the Kabinet. Mohammadi studied Modern and Contemporary Art History at the University of Utrecht and completed her BA in Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Art The Hague. In 2022, she won the Stokroos Sculpture Stipendium. Her artistic practice stems from a position of in-betweenness – a so-called interspace embedded in cultural histories. She creates installations and sculptures that embody long-lost memories and traditions.
