Accessibility

All exhibition halls, patios, and terraces are easily accessible for wheelchair users. There is a lift available at the entrance. The exhibitions are designed in such a way that one can generally move through the halls in a wheelchair without any problems.

Please note: In the exhibition Rui Chafes x Alberto Giacometti: Gris, Vide, Cris III, two installations are not accessible to visitors using a wheelchair, walker, or mobility scooter. Please ask one of our volunteers for an explanation.

Our museum is accessible for wheelchair users. One accompanying person per wheelchair user receives free admission.

Borrowing a wheelchair
You can borrow a wheelchair during your museum visit. These are limited in availability and therefore must be reserved in advance by phone or email. You can reach us by phone at: 070-3585857 or email: info@beeldenaanzee.nl

  • Assistance dogs are welcome.
  • There is a toilet available for people with disabilities.
  • The entire museum is accessible to visitors with mobility scooters. If you have a large mobility scooter, please call us first on +31 (0)70 3585857 so that we can help you enter the museum safely. Large mobility scooters do not fit in our wheelchair lift, so we will guide you through the car park.
  • The museum regularly organizes special tours for people with visual impairments. These tours are also possible on an individual basis.
  • Upon request, the museum offers an art program for people with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, and their caregivers.
