During After Hours, you can experience Museum Beelden aan Zee after closing time. Among the sculptures, an evening-long program unfolds with dance, music, spoken word, sculpture, film, inspiring encounters, and many more surprises!
On this special evening, explore three exciting exhibitions featuring sculptures by Ryan Gander, Edgar Degas, Tania Kovats, and Erwin de Vries. In the museum café, you can dance to tracks by a DJ, join a creative workshop, or take part in a flash tour. Enjoy delicious Surinamese snacks, and at the bar, DISH will be serving up delightful drinks.
Korzo is here to move you!
Korzo, an adventurous theatre and production house from The Hague, returns to the museum with a new, enchanting edition of After Hours. Choreographer Ayşe Nur Sallı presents a unique performance inspired by Ryan Gander’s innovative perspective on Degas’s ballerina.
Since September, Ayşe has been working with young performers on a one-of-a-kind piece set among the artworks, blending dance, moving image, and personal expression. They bring their own ideas and dance languages into the creative process. Expect improvisation, floorwork, partnering, and, of course, an impressive finale!
Elten Kiene
Spoken word artist, host, organizer, and workshop teacher Elten Kiene is a true wordsmith. During After Hours, Elten will perform alongside the work of Erwin de Vries, best known as the creator of the Slavery Monument in Amsterdam.
This is an evening you don’t want to miss!
