Royal Conservatoire Dance is part of the Faculty of Music and Dance at the University of the Arts The Hague.
KC Dance is a professional program for classical, modern, and contemporary dance where dance talents are trained to become the dancers of the future: independent dance artists with passion and ambition, an open, creative mind, and excellent professional skills.
The program collaborates with leading companies in the Netherlands, including the Dutch National Ballet, Introdans, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, and particularly Nederlands Dans Theater. There are international collaborations with partners in, among others, Spain, Turkey, Korea, Japan, and Italy, and the program is affiliated with the Prix de Lausanne and the Assemblée Internationale/Canada’s National Ballet School.
Royal Conservatoire Dance presents an exclusive performance created specifically for this exhibition in the program ‘After Hours’ on October 3rd. Inspired by Ryan Gander’s reinterpretation of Edgar Degas’ work, students develop an intriguing performance based on improvisation and composition under the guidance of choreographer Karine Guizzo.
