My story in pictures - Primary education

My story in pictures - Primary education

My story in pictures - Group 5 to 8

Once upon a time, there was an artist who created a mysterious sculpture: a stuffed fox in cheerful clothes holding a golden gun and a mobile phone. What does that mean?! In this museum lesson, you will learn about the extraordinary life stories of artists. Together with the museum educator, you will look at sculptures and portraits. You will discuss how artists depict identity. In the workshop, you will create a clay portrait that tells a story. You will learn about the proportions of the face and how you can capture something personal with facial expressions. Afterwards, you will present your artwork to your classmates.

The lesson plan can be downloaded here
