Look, I am a statue - primary education

Do you know that feeling when you're so happy that you want to skip or sing a song? Or want to dance and jump? Some statues know that feeling too! In this museum lesson, you will learn to look very closely because you need to use all your senses. With games and assignments, you imagine how a happy statue sounds, how an angry artwork moves (or stands still), and how you can comfort a sad figurine. You also look at colors, shapes, and materials. Together with your classmates, you create a unique statue of your fingers in plaster: there is only one like this in the whole world! Of course, this special piece can be taken back to school.

The lesson consists of a tour and a mini workshop on plaster casting. The lesson perfectly aligns with the COH project 'That's You' for group 1-2 (Visual Arts Learning Line/Theme Identity).
