Policy Plan

The foundation aims to promote public ownership of art. The foundation aims to achieve its goal in collaboration with the foundations Stichting Museum Beelden aan Zee and Stichting De Onvoltooide, based in The Hague, by organizing exhibitions, providing guided tours, offering information, and publishing publications. The foundation is non-profit.

The foundation's income is formed by subsidies and donations, gifts, inheritances and legacies, and all other acquisitions and revenues. The foundation has not actively raised funds so far. The assets are used to cover any operating losses of Stichting Museum Beelden aan Zee and Stichting De Onvoltooide.

The foundation's assets are conservatively managed by an investment committee formed from board members based on an investment statute approved by the board.

Board Composition

The board consists of five or more members, one of whom holds a quality seat. The number of members is determined by the board. The quality seats are filled upon the recommendation of the founders of the foundation and their direct descendants.

The board members are appointed for a period of four years. The board has established a retirement schedule. A retiring member can be reappointed once.

The boards of the foundation and the Stichting Museum Beelden aan Zee and Stichting De Onvoltooide form a personal union.
